Emergency crews respond to car in the water in Rocky Hill

Emergency crews are responding to a report of a car in the water near the Rocky Hill ferry dock Monday afternoon.

The Cromwell Fire Department confirmed the reports, saying in a social media post that they were responding to assist Rocky Hill's department with "operations on the Connecticut River following reports of a vehicle in the water."

The Middletown Fire Department is also responding to the incident, sending in its dive team.

So far there is no indication as to how the incident occurred or if there are any injuries.
